We can work from your technical drawings and carry out general light fabrication and assembly where appropriate, as well as sawing and flame cutting universal columns to length.
Know what you need
Our own technical specifications are available on the James Dunkerley Steels website, so you can choose from all of our different sizes of web, flange, fillet and so on.
Again, this makes it easier to know what you need before you place your order, and can save you time during the ordering process.
Collection or delivery
You can collect universal columns from us using your own vehicles if you wish – again just call ahead if you want to make certain that we have the size you need in stock before you make that journey.
Alternatively, we can deliver to your job site at a prearranged time, so you don’t need to worry about leaving to pick up your steel sections, and can put your trust in a timely delivery service.
Faster assembly
Finally, think about how you will assemble your structural steel sections on-site, as we can offer services like punching and drilling if you need pre-drilled boltholes.
Our general light fabrication service can assemble structures off-site so you can simply slot them into place directly from the truck, so if you have cabinets, racking and other mid-sized structures, ask us about this option too.
